Araya Acosta left the Jersey Shore to pursue the West Coast dream here in California. Her boyfriend, who is older, a cop, and had only been dating Araya for just over a month, dropped everything to be with her on this side of the country. That should tell you a little something about the power of this woman. My opinion? The man is no fool. Araya is elegant and classy, yet quite comfortable sharing her naughty side with the camera. Deirdre Collins gets to crush girls on a regular basis since she is on her university's rugby team. Reminds me of my college days. Right. Deirdre's strong body comes along with a snarky personality. I asked her opinion on American football and she called it 'pussy' since they use protective padding and halt play during the game. Deirdre says she is not an exceptionally aggressive person, but probably receives a therapeutic benefit from tackling others. I asked if she would tackle me for a video clip and she said it probably wouldn't be a great idea. My light frame was easily convinced. I really loved the name Century City. It is an area near Beverly Hills. I thought the title came from the postmodern, glossed-over edifices that line Century City's streets. Then I discovered it is named that way because she used to serve as a backlot for 20th Century Fox. Meh, not as interesting. Anyways, I took Yesenia Corral to this Temple of the Dollar and we came up with these playful photos. There is a certain thrill to being uncouth in a place that takes itself so seriously. Neon Indian's "6669" is the song in the bonus video.

Here's part 2 of Nola Barry's trip to the rooftop pool. It may be a bit redundant, but if I were you, I wouldn't complain. I'd be very understanding of the difficulty in discarding perfectly good images of Nola. She is a bad ass. My infatuation is not based on her freakishly well-built figure. Obviously, that is hard to overlook. But, no. My favorite qualities of Nola are her relaxed attitude, openness to adventure, and seemingly effortless ability to smile and experience joy. Orli Krowan flew in from SF to be photographed for the site. I first took her to this cafe in Santa Monica for some grub. She was a bit shy with the public stuff, but eased more into it later that day. But first, we trekked up to Topanga Canyon and shot at my hippie friend's hippie cabin. There was no air conditioning, of course, which explains the beads of sweat on Orli's back. Stay tuned for more from this day.

Sweater weather is creeping up on us here in Los Angeles. I asked April Grantham if she wanted to go out for some sushi and she said hells to the yeah. Little did I know, she only eats vegan sushi. Um, what? I know Kabuki isn't the best, but gotta order something that came from the ocean. Anways, I was polite and tolerated April's blasphemy since she promised some fun photos once we were done eating. I don't know about Kabuki, but April certainly delivers.
