As for her asking James for forgiveness I'm quite convinced we got the answer to that already, she felt super guilty in her early stages of messing around with fuckface and she REALLY hates when Jill talks about their kiss, so it's probably just her feeling guilty for kissing 2 other people that aren't her husband.
She got over that in EP7 which is when she decides to take her wedding ring off for the first time.

I actually had another idea that I didn't mention in my original comment, but you are hovering around it with the talk of double meanings and Bella being referred to as a mom, so here it is: her child was named James Roberts Jr.

As Much as I enjoy all the different characters, plots & Sub-Plots I kinda miss the College Frat shenanigans from the first few episodes. Game really felt like some of the greats in the beginning: Animal House, Old School, Van Wilder, American Pie and Revenge of the Nerds. Now it kinda just feels a bit like a Leisure Suit Larry game with the drama cracked to 11 (not that that's a bad thing) just saying I miss the pranks and funny shit from the first few episodes.
