Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program or project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in program management with leading cross-functional, and changing technical projects with distributed teams.
- Knowledge of Google tools and technologies (e.g., Borg, Flex). Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate within a team environment and keep up with technical discussions.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.In this role, you will collaborate with the Platforms and Devices Developer organization to build and operate dependable services, forming the core of production infrastructure support.
Responsibilities
- Implement communications standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and partner communications.
- Establish a reliable and visible cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and Resource Stewardship whereby improvements such as efficiency and utilization gains are measurable and the impact can be felt organization wide.
- Lead a governance structure that drives executive decision-making.
- Define a program portfolio solving problems that aims business impact for the organization.
- Build alliances with cross-organization and cross-functional stakeholders who have aligned priorities.
